Wanted sub £300 GPU. Z97, i5 4690k, 600w PSU.

hello all, I'm after a gpu for my near complete gaming set up:

AsRock ZS97 Pro 4, i5 4690k, 600w PSU.

I have £300 to spend, and will the 600w PSU be enough for recommended GPU's?

well the only thing from nvidia at that price is the 970
amd has 390/390x which are both a bit better

Great thanks, I though it would be down to the 970 and the 390/x, but can't decide which one is the best one to go with!!

most games i think the 390 beats the 970. 390x is obviously best but its possible to oc the 390 to equal performance. just up to what you want. 970 consumes less power, runs cooler and are a bit quieter apparently.

found the XFX R9 390 DD 8GB GDDR5 for £251.99, seems a decent price, the gigabyte 970 is around the same price give or take a couple of pounds. Edging towards xfx, does that seem a good buy to you? thanks again
