Headline says it all, pricing needs to be affordable. This is to complete some systems I have, one of which is for an upgrade to my parent's old Dell.
Windows 7 must include sticker and CD and must not be used on another PC anywhere. Prefer x64 versions.
Core 2 Duo chips must be at least E6600. Quads must be 2.4ghz or faster. Anything slower I won't look twice at. Prefer 1066mhz bus chips. No 1333mhz bus chips of either kind will be considered, as my mobos do not support these.
SSDs must be at SATA II or SATA III (6gbps) and at least 80 gigabytes to be considered. Pricing should be less than a 50cents a gig. For example, an 80GB drive should be no more than 40GBs. Used is fine, but I prefer one that hasn't been used to death in a server.
I think the seller SHOULD have some sort of buyer/seller reference (ie Paypal) or at least be a long time forum user. I'm hesitant to front money to complete strangers. I have looked up someone on Facebook before trusted them to send a check to me forfor a $100+ sale. We are now friends.
Not everyone is an honest person. I'd love a society where we COULD all trust each other and part of building that sometimes is a willingness to trust. That said, sometimes you have to be willing to take a chance on strangers to complete a transaction and make a new friend.
Well that's it, thanks for reading! Taking offers. Please PM me and notify me here. Thanks!
***Also accepting offers on working hard drives that aren't too slow. 7200rpm only I suppose, and fairly new. I'll be looking up benchmarks on any offered drives.
