Question Wanting to build a pc unsure where to start

I want to build a pc for casual gaming, the Sims, Minecraft, and maybe fps. This is the first time I will have done this and it's overwhelming to say the least. If someone could give me a list of components from most important to least that would be helpful. Also is there anything I should absolutely buy new verses used.
