Recently I bought a new Seagate internal hard drive. I used it for a month in my computer and then gave it to my brother for a month. It was functioning well until my bro returned it saying that his PC is now not booting properly due to my hdd. (it worked well for a couple of weeks) I tried it in mine. It worked well the first time but the second time I started the pc, windows showed a message saying "Scanning and repairing Drive x: " . The third time I started the pc. The windows loading icon kept loading for like more than 10 mins. I had to disconnect the power source. Now, Whenever I connect the Seagate HDD Windows doesn't boot as it happend to my brother. Is there any way this can be resolved??

as Its a new hard drive and I don't think there are any physical damages inside it. (I handle it with care)

Well it's still under warranty, so that's good. You can use Windows media and run a chkdsk /r and check for any errors on the drive. If it finds it, it will repair them. When it did the scanning and repairing, did you skip it, or let it do it's thing?
