Question Wanting to replace a WD Green

I have a external WD Green and want to replace it because its slow and keeps shutting down while d/l, transferring or watching videos and giving me 'stopped responding' errors. Just after a 2-4 TB replacement that I can put in the old external case without giving me any problems/errors/slowdowns and would like someone in the know opinion. Would a WD Blue do the job?

Are you sure the electronics are not the main issue?
Mostly external hdd electronics keep failing.

Good point. I swapped some drives around and it does seem to be the enclosure at fault.
