I am going to be building a new system a few months from now. I want to run 2 NZXT Kraken X62s (one for the CPU and one for the GPU.) I am concerned that the CAM software will not be able to control the X62s independently of one another. I am just curious to see if anyone else has tried this before and what problems/solutions you encountered.

UPDATE: What I mean by control is: Will I be able to have different color schemes on the waterblocks? For instance, Red on the CPU and Green on the GPU or something a long those lines.

Here is a quick build list, if that helps:
i7-7700K
ASUS ROG Maximus IX Code
32 GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB (not yet released)
ASUS ROG STRIX OC GTX 1080
2 x NZXT Kraken X62
NZXT Kraken G10 GPU Water Cooler Mounting Kit

Thank you in advance for your help!

Solution
It'll be improved on next CAM update (multiple LED devices on single CAM ), CAM is fairly young and further compatibility will be announced. Technically CAM will recognize X62 circuity signal through motherboard fan header, if you add another X62 plugged through motherboard then CAM assumed all connected RGB LED devices as one because CAM use your PC resource.
Meanwhile you can look for NZXT Hue +

how can you use the kraken x62 on a gpu when its a cpu coooler?

@ Ryan2305, Called Hybrid cooling, water block on GPU core, air for VRM area. Problem is not the X62 but the G10 bracket, the base plate of G10 might not compatible with Asus ROG STRIX OC GTX 1080 PCB design, I suggest contacting NZXT and ASUS for compatibility assurance. I assume Roberto has already known it'll fit.

Do you have an update on this? I currently have an X62 on my CPU, and want to add a smaller X31 to my GPU. I don't think you can control lighting independently yet as others have said, but I'm wondering about pump and fan speed.
