the options for cards are kinda limited atm...

I am kinda eyeing that one or

http://www.geforce.com/hardware/10series/geforce-gtx-1060

I know the top one is a monster card, but the one I have is about the same size with room to spare in the case...

My current card uses 500 watts I think most 1060s use 450 watts so that should be good too...

I guess my question is anyone got any suggestions of other cards, or should I wait until another one comes out?

I really prefer nvidia... I hate having to choose processors... some games look bad if you do not have the processor it was made for... etc... I have had the best luck with Nvidia regardless....

I understand... yeah I have had radeon before some games like Eve Online had Graphical issues... while some games are made to work better with Radeon.... they are much less common than Nvidia... they are not bad cards I jsut think it isa preference thing.... it is kinda like how many people also go with AMD processors... I have had those also.... they are not bad either I liked my AMD processor, however nowadays there is little difference in cost between the Intel and AMD that I am aware of... People used to buy AMD chips to overclock them... they were cheap so if they burned up no biggie.

I am curious if either of the ones I posted are good... the one by Nvidia is their own chip with their own card.... the other is the Asus... I own a Gigabyte card... More than likly I will go with one of the three card brands for the 1060.

I know compared to my card it will be a big boost no matter what, but I have always been told that graphic cpu is very important and that card makers always stack a TON of RAM to make it seem like the card is better, when the CPU clock is what matters. right now I am eyeing the ASUS

or the Nvidia one, however my current card is a gigabyte and i have been nothing but impressed with it. It is jsut now it is getting old and games like Witcher are LAGGY with it etc...
