Wanting to upgrade PC

So, I mainly play Ark: Survival Evolved, and im having some trouble playing it, and i think its time to upgrade some parts, i play on medium settings at 45 or so fps, and am wanting to get to high/epic at 60fps, Thanks!

GPU: EVGA GTX 950 SC+ 2GB GDDR5

Your CPU is still strong and worth keeping a hold of.

Your GPU is the weak link here. Depending on what resolution monitor you plan on using in the future, a GTX 1060 6GB or 1070 Ti are right up your alley.

Amount of RAM is good, no worries there.

look at the last post on the thread by machyna. looks like your build is similar to his, all but the graphics card. and he can push "With the single card i get 55-60 FPS with everything turned on and up to epic with about 30-40 fps during map loading"

so maybe just upgrade your video card.

I have a 1080 ti and the game is hard to run even on it. Granted I do play at 4k. The game was based around a Titan X Maxwell for 1080p epic settings. So it doesn't surprise me that a 980 ti gets 55-60 fps on epic settings. The GTX 1070 would get you there and the 1070 ti would more than get you there.
