Question WAP 'REGISTERED TO' Can this be undone if an LAPAC 1750 was bought used, and registered to someone else

It doesn't seem like a hard reset does it, but I bought one 1750 WAP new and got it to work as my main. No problems. I then bought another 1750 and a 1200 used from eBay and when I tried to add them to the network they both said, "Your access point cannot be found, please make sure it is connected to the internet."

I started a thread on this inability to connect a used router to my network and tried all the advice. I decided to throw in the towel and sell all three on eBay. Somebody who obviously knew what they were doing asked for the SN and MAC address on all 3. He said it was to see if he could "get them to connect."

He got back to me and told me the new 1750 was registered to me. He didn't say about the other two.

My question is, can the "registered to" be somehow erased so the machine can sell and work on someone else's network? Thank you all.
