Getting a GTX 960 4gb, with a Skylake i5 6600, (non k). But I do not want to break anything the first day. I plan to get MSI afterburner so I can keep track of the GPU and CPU usage levels and temperatures. Is there anything I should not do, or should watch out when I play demanding games? And what temp or usage % should both the GPU and CPU always be under?

Thanks

Solution
Well, you don't need MSI Afterburner. Depends your motherboard, can be avaiable a 3d program party which control the temperatures of the cpu or gpu like my gigabyte does.

For CPU , -for me point of view-, 70° IDLE is time to worry about.
For GPU, -depending which manufacturer you have- above 80° is something to worry about.
