I used MagicIso and MagicDIsk in Windows 7 Pro to mount my Windows 10 install .ISO.
Unfortunately MagicIso is not Win10 compatible and is uninstalled during the upgrade process.
If one is lucky you can uninstall from Windows.old/Program Files (x86)/MagicIso.

In my case I could not Un-Mount or Eject the Windows 10 DVD image. I could not move or rename the file. After every restart it came back. Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management would not unmount. My only option was the dreaded RegEdit. I had to search for every instance of 'MagicIso' and 'MagicDisk' and deleted them from the registry. Then I ran CCleaner registry cleaner, crossed my fingers and restarted.

It worked.

Solution
If you were trying to install Windows 10 via the .iso which was mounted via MagicDisc/iso while running Windows 7, there's your problem.

I used Magic ISO to burn the Windows 10 image, installed clean, no problems.

You know Windows 10 is becoming a real pain in the ass.
For a weeks now all I hear is installed windows 10 Start bar not working, Desktop screen wont show, crashes a game out when I play it when it worked fine with windows 7 or windows 8 8.1.
Driver does not work or fails to install on windows. Keyboard, mouse devices not working right suffering from freezing or Stuttering.
Problems with multi cpu cores and activity and load usage and balancing. 100 usage with, older hard drives fitted.
The list goes on.
And makes you think why exactly was Microsoft so keen to give it away for free to early adopters to windows 10.
It`s pretty clear it`s not quiet Mature as it seems even though it was publicly released. Nor is very stable under some conditions and mix of hardware, since such a vast range of it exists when it comes to Pc based systems and set up. does it. Say about a 60% stable working environment, or system OS. Depending on the system and hardware it contains plus driver support.

There again it`s not like this problem has not been faced with Microsoft's prior Os efforts is it.
The rule is wait a bit, and stick with what works and you know is stable for you.
Not get looped into the hype about it`s faster and better bla bla bla.
Who cares, would you rather have a car that starts all of the time or one that is a pain in the ass to get started and does not work all the time or as respected to work, with high reliability?

That makes more sense, than having to find out the misery and upset of windows 10 does not work right on my machine or system, since it`s early days of the OS there are going to be major headaches for some people, with it and there machines and the vast amount of hardware configs.

What MS in fact wanted was a horde of guinea pigs to test there OS, then build on it`s stability and reliability as they can only do so much of that with in house testing, driver support and bug checking and more hardware compatibility support, software support.

I wish and will people would see it, and look before they leap.

Remember if it works fine, and you are happy with it.
Does what it does reliably, why on earth do you need change it, your current stable OS ?
Because it` supposed to be better. Well if you have run into windows 10 and had a headache with it clearly it`s not is it. What else do you need to know other than it`s not not time to upgrade till the bugs are ironed out, that it will take time.

Just a few thought`s be fore you decide to install windows 10 to think up on.
Remember you can always go back, but it may be at the loss of all your data, if you never back things up before a new OS installation. Always take the time to do this if the Data is important to you.

I'm happy to report that Windows 10 (retail) in my humble opinion,is the best OS yet by Microsoft.I was using Windows 7 (upgrade from XP) for a couple of years, and I loved it.Never tried 8,8.1,Vista because the feedback on those was...horrendous.Well, I built a totally new machine not long ago,and of course,my new hardware would not recognize my Windows 7 key.And btw, before I built my new machine,I tried the Win 10 upgrade for exactly 22 hours, and reverted back to 7.It was a disaster. So instead of going through the hassle of contacting MS support and speaking to some guy named 'Bill' from Lehore or Mumbai or wherever,I went out and bought the retail version of Windows 10 Home 64 bit.I've had it for 3 months, and I must say,it puts Win 7,XP,Vista,8,8.1 to shame. It is innovative,I have no privacy issues(I disabled them all) and everything has worked from the start.Drivers work, games don't crash,my hardware has 0 issues, and it hard boots for me in 13 sec.So my point is this...do not upgrade.I spent the $99,skeptically too,but I jumped in and have no regrets whatsoever.
