So I'm buying the parts for my first build ever off Amazon, but it prompts me to buy some warranty. Won't the company itself give me a warranty? Like if the part arrives damaged, what should I do?

COMPUTER Processor. AMD - Ryzen 5 1400 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor 160USD

Motherboard. MSI - B350 Tomahawk ~90USD

Memory. G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory <85USD

Graphics processing unit. GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 3gb 220USD

Storage. wd blue 1tb 50usd

Power supply. buy from a shop

SSD. Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM) 90USD

Software. Microsoft Windows 10 Home

Monitor.

Case.

Bluetooth and WiFi. ~20USD

That's my build.

If you buy parts from Amazon you have 30 or so days to return them for almost any reason, especially if they become damaged. Otherwise each part has its own warranty usually a minimum of 90 days, and such rules apply depending on your country.

You'll just have to check the manufacturer warranty for each item.
Amazon is generally very good for the first 30 days. After that, the manufacturer warranty takes over.
