Hello everyone,
I recently sent my HP Envy x360 - 15t laptop in to have the keyboard repaired. They replaced the top cover (which includes the keyboard) and sent it back.
I noticed it seemed to be getting hotter than usual and then noticed there was no longer an air vent on the right side. I called HP support and they said other models were sold with this top cover and the service team would not have replaced it with an incompatible part. They suggested I keep using it and call them if I had further concerns. I use this laptop for video editing and light gaming.
Should I be concerned about airflow and proper cooling?
Should I request that they replace it with an original top cover (with vent)?
