[SOLVED] Was i right in refunding this monitor (VG27AQ)

Hi guys, so I've had an ASUS VG27AQ for about a week now which has served me well. Until tonight that is (I think).

I started playing resident evil and noticed off colours in the corners of the screen (see images) so I tried closing the game and ran a youtube video and the colours where there too.

Was I right in refunding it or is this IPS glow that I read (it still doesn't seem right to me)

You have the right to an refund if your purchase got something wrong with the monitor and them pictures there alot of backlight bleed so you do have the right to take it back for a refund or replacement if under the return period
