[SOLVED] Was looking to upgrade GPU rtx2080 vs waiting for Rx 5800 xt?

Hi all I was looking to do an enthusiast GPU upgrade for my current PC. I am trying to decide between waiting for an Rx 5800xt or getting an RTX 2080.

Current PC specs
CPU: I7 6700k
GPU: Gigabyte Rx 480 4gb
MOBO: gigabyte G1 B7 sniper
Ram: 24 GB 2133 ddr4 gskill
Storage: 3tb HDD and 250 GB SSD.

Any advice would be appreciated on this, thank you.

Wait for 2020. It is gonna be a bloodbath. Intel entering the discrete GPU market, NVIDIA releasing the 7nm AMPERE architecture and AMD releasing big NAVi.

Now, the high end is pretty overpriced IMHO.

Yeah I know I just have to beat this pc upgrade bug I have right now.
