Was my purchase a good idea?

I recently bought a GTX 750 TI as it was the best price/performance here. $150 was my budget. With Pascal around the corner, was my purchase a good idea? Please note that I only game at 768p and that the GTX 950 is of $250 here.

With your budget, Pascal being around the corner is irrelevant as the higher end cards will be released initially. Expect lower end pascal cards in 2017.

With respect to your 750Ti, if you can now play all the games you want to play it must have been a good decision, right?

Yeah, it was a good decision. Just wanted to confirm it. Pascal was getting me worried but now its ok. 768p/60FPS on almost every game at the highest settings. How does it compare to and R7 260X or R7 265?

I don't know real world tests and most other people here would just quote some articles somehwere. That isn't a forum question really...

Why don't you just google how it compares?

You have got a good point actually. But, still thanks for the advice, I wanted to know from someone who actually has tested it but its ok.
