Was this buy a mistake?

Hi everybody,

Lon story short, in my shop at school, I bought a gt 210 so I could support multiple monitors and am going to put it in my shop computer. It's got 2 gigs of ram and some sort of athlon 64.

I saw the 210 on ebay for 12 dollars and free three day shipping. I just bought it without realizing how terrible the performance is.
Was this a very poor purchase or what?

You are good.
Any discrete graphics card will handle two monitors which is the job you are asking it to do.

If you want to play fast action games, that is another matter.

Depends. If you wanted hardware acceleration for lets say 1080p yt video playback which is doable on an athlon 64 single core then you are out of luck as even for that it won't be enough.
