Solution
Because is CPU bound titles it falls behind. The Pentium will lose to an i3 or better in BF4, multiplayer mode. Crysis 3 is another title it would lose in. Any game that uses more then 2 cores, it will struggle. Also benchmarks do not show a real world situation, where you have other things running in the background, like antivirus and such.
don't get Kingston ssd not good quality spend a little extra get an ssd from crucial brand like mx100. also the z97 isn't worth it for a budget build. id get a cheaper h97 mobo and maybe get an i3 if it doesn't go over budget. also if your not overclocking the hyper evo will not be worth it.

Forget the SSD and get a better CPU.

looks like a good build. +1

The Samsung EVO is a great SSD! Also, the G3258 will probably be just fine for overclocking and will not bottleneck the R9 270X.

Thank you! Why do people think pentium = bad, the g3258 is based on the new devil's canyon architecture, and a benchamark compared to the i7 4440, it only lacks behind 10fps if you overclock it a bit....

Yeah the problem is that Pentium is dual core so any game that uses more then 2 cores a quad core cpu will out preform it. In terms of raw speed yes the Pentium g3258 is really nice for the price if you OC it.
