Tn, ips, va have all been used in pro level e-sports tournaments so it's safe to say, they can all be good for gaming. What matters is exactly what model it is as some monitors are better than others. There's hundreds of good models and without knowing budget, what size or res you want, I can only give general info. The higher the refresh rate the better. There is nothing on the spec sheet that will tell if it will ghost since response times are artificial. This will require you to look up reviews from reputable places or even an article that suggests some popular models. Gsync/freesync is ideal.
