Washed out colors while playing Fullscreen @60fps on a 120Hz Monitor

Whenever I play at fullscreen on my BenQ 2420T @120Hz and the framerate is capped at 60, the colors get VERY washed out. This problem disappears whenever I cap the framerate at 120fps in-game or play it on Borderless. It's really annoying, Borderless Gaming saved me real hard, but there are some games which don't like Borderless Gaming.
This is not a case-specific scenario, it happens in ANY game that is capped at 60fps.
Is there a way to "lock" the colors in, or is it a 120Hz issue?
I really don't want to downgrade my Framerate to 60Hz :/
Thanks!

well if NVidia admits to something ?? I'm using 2 NVidia cards and 1 AMD ??? one is a gtx 980ti , gt6600 and hd 7850

thing is weather it 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 dx 11 is dx 11 I got old games from back from 1999 and a few don't support highr res. monitors like 1080 and at best I run them a 1024x 768 old analog style resolutions and all one game defults at 800x600 bordered for its cut scenes looks as good to me as the rest ? aint had to change nothing on these monitors out of there boxes or after installing any cards ??

that's the thing I guess you could have a defective card causing this ??

by the way for my 980ti I still use driver 355.82 ?

look at this guy...
well that's one of the main things you see in user reviews of benQ's washed out looking ? may need to calibrate it manually as most find they have to ?

My monitor is 100% calibrated. The colors wash out ONLY when a 60fps game is running at Fullscreen.
While on borderless this washing out doesn't happen, nor when I play at Fullscreen 120fps.
Again, ONLY when I play at Fullscreen at 60fps.

??? like said benq and washed out seem to go hand in hand ??

try this , may give some insight ?

https://pcmonitors.info/articles/correcting-hdmi-colour-on-nvidia-and-amd-gpus/

between my monitors and hdtv's as well I don't experience any of that you say with any of them ??

Seriously, you're not even trying to understand. It's NOT that. First, I'm using a Display Port, secondly, my colors look AMAZING, this issue ONLY happens while in a game on Fullscreen and fixed a 60fps

Ok, so, I contacted BenQ and they tell me it's not the monitor's fault. Since my problem ONLY happens when I go Fullscreen and 60fps, it's a DirectX issue or a Driver's issue.
So, I'll try to reinstall both and see what happens :)

''Implying that a BenQ 2420T is a bad monitor?'' no but like I say you see a lot of benq's with this issue all over ''washed out '' pretty common

ok, well full /1/2 , windowed , bordered ??? what should change ?? nothing -- if the card / driver / dx works at full 60 /120 / 144 hz should no matter what , to me at 60hz things should be easyer for the monitor to ''maintain '' then having to keep up with the higher 120 or 144hz refresh .

now if windowed some how changes the resolution and say it changes to a unsupported res. now maybe ??

lets face it benq is not going to say ''ya, our monitors have that issue '' and like most all manufactures its everyone else's fault but there own , right ? must be you , aint us .

maybe borrow another quality monitor and see how things go ??

lets see if some one will answer here with better help

The same thing happens with my TV, so it's not a Monitor issue
I've spoken to NVidia for hours, they did everything they could. They admitted that the issue was on their end, based on the tests I did. There's something wrong with my GTX 970 communicating with DirectX. It's some kind of default color change that happens when an application that has Windows's focus and it has a different Refresh Rate than the Display, some sort of reset. That's why the colors un-calibrate.
I can't uninstall DirectX 11, since Windows 7 comes with it by default. I'll upgrade to Windows 8.1 or 10, hope it solves the issue.

like that one guy said maybe the games just aint optimized to run well on anything over 60hz and issues occur ?

like said here ?
