Washing CPU in Hot water.

I Dont know where else to ask this, but let me get on with it.

So i got a new pc now, And my old pc had the nForce 680I SLI motherboard and the Intel 2 core Duo CPU in it, Well i took those out of the case and figured i would make a Video review of them, But I instead went to my bathroom Filled my sink up with host water and dunked both the CPU and mother board in hot water Now before you stop reading this and comment below, I was not thinking at the time, but now i do want to know, (If i didnt dunk the mother board or the CPU, Would they be worth anything to anyone? Im just curious.

Now since i did that they look Decent, actually scratch that looks like i just took them out of the original packaging. So Please help me out and answer my question, Thanks

I gotta ask...who told you to dunk these in the sink?
Likely that are still OK....if you let them dry for a week.

well, It was my idea, Ive had them for a while. I figured they deserved a nice bath. I built a new computer thats a whole lot better. so why not haha.. But now im wishing i didnt dunk the cpu.. I could have sold it so i could buy a green screen. fml. I should have thought about it before i did it. I gotta stop doing stupid stuff under the influence.
