im gonna get abit nf7-s, thermlright slk900u and i need to know wat fan to get on it, I want it fairly quiet (is this like around 30dba?) but also keep an oc 2500+ cooled at 11*200.. say 30-40 degrees C... any recommendations? would a Sunon 92mm 49CFM 34.5dba fan do the job just fine? it runs at 2700RPM

thx

thx

Panaflo fans are very quiet... but I'm not sure if they move enough air.

But you can also use an adjustable fan.

I love my Delta 60HP 7000 RPM fan that puts out more dB then CFM 😱

Enermax make adjustable fans in 80mm, 92mm and 120mm varities.
At high speed they push quite decent amounts of air.
Thermaltake make a nice vartaible and/or temp depended 80mm fan.

And keeping a system to any particlar temp is pointless as the reported temp allways varies so much between motherboards and cpu's.
Its easy if your's reports low, but if it reads high its going to be next to impossible to get temps of 30-40C.

That sunon will do the job fine, but 34dBa is getting too loud for my tastes.

But you could always get the sunon AND a 10 watt rheostat and turn the fan down to your desired level of noise.

You could use the Vantec Tornado with the Vantec front panel thing, it has cpu temperature display, cpu fan controller and USB ports. Nice little control panel.

I hate Computers! My Sapphire 9800pro core/mem speed won't go above 490/790. I really hate computers!
