Question Wat type of ssd is this ?????

Hi everyone,

I'm about to buy an SSD to replace my HDD. But I have no clue what type of SSD I need. I only know it's SATA 3. Now I only need to know whether the HDD on the pictures is a 2,5inch SSD or mSATA ??

No problem, yes, you need a 2.5 inch SATA SSD.

The drive is a laptop 2.5" sata drive. I think 160gb.

My suggestion is to buy a 250gb Samsung 860 evo 2.5" ssd like this for $60:

The 500gb version is $75, a good upgrade.
Use the Samsung ssd migration app to move your Windows C drive and apps to the ssd.
Here is a link to the migration aid.
