Hey guys i stumbled on to a article calming to have a good grasp on how much power you will need to play Ubisofts upcoming title Watch dogs. Heres the specs:

Watch Dogs system requirements (minimum)
CPU: Intel Core i3 or i5 dual core processor or better
RAM: 1GB
Graphics: 512 MB RAM, Nvidia 7-series, AMD 3000-series
Operating system: Windows Vista
14 GB of hard drive space

Watch Dogs system requirements (recommended)
CPU: Quad core Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, or AMD FX 8000 series chip
RAM: 2GB (4GB for 64-bit OS)
Graphics: 1GB Video RAM, Nvidia 500 / AMD 6000 series.
Operating system: Windows 7 64 bit
14 GB of hard drive space

First time i seen the FX series recommended. Some doubts i have on this system requirement is one the ram....its to low for both minimum and recommended. It should be atleast 2 gigs min, 3 recommended for 32 bit 4 or 6 gigs for 64 bit. Also in the minimum, it states you must have vista which means that the game does not support dx9, i think this is pretty realistic. Also i think the the minimum card should at least be the 4000 series...even that is being a bit unrealistic. So let me hear your thoughts!

It does support directx 9, because if it didn't, it wouldn't say Nvidia 7-series would was supported.

Furthermore, it just said minimum Vista because they don't care about PC market and just didn't test on XP. I'd not be surprised if it didn't work.

Lastly, the requirements are very abstract. There are cards from nvidia 8000 series that are more powerful than some cards from 500 series (like 8800 GT vs GT 520). Given recommendation for a powerful CPU, I suspect it to be very bad, CPU hungry console port.

Oh, i thought the 7-series was dx 10 since the hd 3000 series is 10.1. Dont know much about nvida cards, im a ati/amd guy. Also im just hoping its not another gta 4

I think you got your self backwards there, Ive seen people with quad core processors and decent gpus that couldn't pull above 40 fps in gta 4 but could play bbc2 at high at 60 fps. Skyrim can run on integrated graphics...which i say is pretty impressive.

Thats only to be expected, it is 4 years newer than gta 4. Plus the game world is like 2x or more in size. For a rpg of that scale, i think its fairly optimized. Gta should on paper be able to run on most low to mid-range systems today but thats not the reality. It states the the game only needs a phenom 1 tripple core to be maxed out...but phenom 2 quads and cards that have 50%+ better performance cant max it out at 60 frames.

What would be the laptop equivalent of these requirements? I'm planning to purchase one. I'm not interested in Full HD gaming. 720p is more than enough for me. The laptop I'm planning to buy has the following configuration:

Intel Core i5 3210M @2.5 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 2GB GDDR3
6 GB of RAM DDR3
