she likes to watch tv programs that we save like Road Rules, Jersey Shore, Kate plus 8.,,,,,,,,we can burn these to dvd but she can't use the dvds, thats why we want to put these movies onto a flash drive and send to her.....still a legal grey area for these?

great and thanks,,,,,, do you know 'how' i can do this? its easy to download music files to my computer and then put them onto a flash drive and then she can use that but dont' know how to put movies onto a flash drive? help

Record your TV programs with Windows Media Center.
Simple copy from C:\Users\Public \Public Video\Road Rules01 to usb flash drive.
She can watch it with clicking on that file from usb if she has Windows Media Center.
For original DVD is another story, you have NetFix for it, see there...

Ripping DVD and put the video file on USB might destroy the menu structure of the DVD. A much better way is to use special software dedicated for making DVD play on USB. I have written one called DVD-On-USB. The step is very simple. Download the software and put it on the USB drive. Then replace the VIDEO_TS folder on the USB drive with the one on the DVD and that is all. Double-click a program called "Play DVD on PC" or "Play DVD on Mac" on the USB drive to start play the video. There is no need to install any program on your computer.
