Watchdogs CPU upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU and motherboard for Watchdogs
I currently have the X4 955 Black edition and am looking either the fx-8320 or the i5-4670k (or 4690)

Obviously the AMD route is cheaper, and I've read the newer games can take advantage of more threads, but still unsure, so any help is appreciated

The game is optimized for eight threads and the 8320 seems like an obvious option here. The i7-4770k is a better option, though, but if you are on a budget, then grab an 8350, which is still better than an 8320. You may also need to upgrade the motherboard also, especially if yours uses the AM3 socket.
