Hey there tomshardware, whenever I'm watching a browser video such as Youtube or Twitch my cpu takes a suprisingly large hit, reaching into the 50% area . During normal web browsing chrome takes up less than 5% of my cpu. This creates for some stuttering in games while having a video playing on the second monitor, becoming pretty inconvienent. Is this normal or is there a way to fix it? Thanks!

Oh, and here are my specs:
Radeon R9 280
i5 4460 (3.2ghz quad core)
8gb DDR3-1866 memory
And running browser and games on an SSD 😀

After reading a couple of these posts, such as trying another browser I saw that I get pretty much the same results :)

I guess I'll just have to accept it as it is, I mean I dont have to be running at 144fps ALL the time I guess.

Thanks All.
