Watching threads.....

This is driving me round the bend now..........

Every single post i read is added to my watch list, so i get an email for EVERY single reply to EVERY thread i read.

Has anyone got any idea how i can stop this or what the problem is?

It happens if i open the thread from the home page or from the catagory list.

Go to your Profile, and check "No" to "Always notify me of replies:
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post."

i have a similiar problem,
but i get notifications even when i haven't even posted in the topic, but just visiting a topic triggers this.
the worst part is, even if i replied to the topic, the option to "always notify me of replies" is not set to yes
and i get the email's every 15-30 mins while i'm online (on modem) and i had about 15 emails overnight.

anyone else got the same problem?

Yes, yes. Thats what i meant, i jsut click on the topic and that triggers the reply notification!

I tried posting on this problem a while ago, and someone recommended i do what you are saying (CHEEZball). My profile already has No selected...

I'm getting this as well, even in topics I only visited but haven't replied to, and I have "notify me of replies" unchecked in my profile and it's unchecked when I make a post. :/
