Watching videos while playing.

I currently play alot of heavy games like PUBG and Rainbow six siege. My pc has no problem running them but when I die in those games I usually watch youtube in my steam overlay while my teammates is still playing. Now heres the problem the videos lags like crazy and im 100% sure its not network lag. So my question is what do I upgrade to make the steam overlay run smoother. I know this is a stupid reason to upgrade but i just can't bear it.

Current components.

CPU: i5 6600
RAM: 8 GIGS of kingston ddr 4. Clocked at 2133 mhz.
GPU: Asus gtx 1060 3 gb gddr5
Disk: Samsung evo 970 500gb

Check CPU and ram usage during those lags. Could be ram too small.
