[SOLVED] Water cool my PC vs upgrade and watercool or build a mini itx build for VR setup in my living room

Current setup:

I7:7700
16gb ddr4 ram
Rtx 2070 MSI Duke oc 8gb
120gb SSD
1tb SSD
1tb hdd
Windows 10 64bit.

I was trying to decide between upgrading my processor and leaving everything else alone, or water-cooling the PC, or upgrading the CPU and water-cooling the PC, or building a dedicated VR PC to have in my living room and leave the current rig where it is in the bedroom that has little to no room for vr. I'm open to and or Intel. If I upgrade current rig probably just upgrade to newer Intel chip to keep costs down. I'm open to any and all ideas and suggestions.

Which VR headset are you planning on getting?

Unless your getting high enough temps that are causing thermal throttling I wouldn't bother with watercooling.

What size is your motherboard? (ATX/MATX/ITX)? If you have a small enough board you could probably put your system into a small enough case to be placed in your living room as your specs are plenty good enough for VR and this would save you a considerable amount of money.

For budget was thinking $1500 already play on a Oculus rift. May upgrade to the rift s for easier setup and less worry for room scale. Motherboard is Atx. I would consider smaller board and case could always make it portable to move if I ever want to go from living room to other room.
