Hi, I have an NZXT water cooler in my machine, and my i7 8700k is oc'd to 5.2 GHz, but when it is stressed it gets over 90C, which as far as I know is way higher than it should be, as its water cooled. When I lowered it to its turbo (4.7 GHz) its stressed temps dropped to 85C, which as far as I know is still warm. It idles at 45C as well, I'm not sure if that is normal or not.

Solution
Well 5.2ghz is really pushing up the temps on that most overclock it to 5ghz. The only thing you can do is use more aggressive fan cooling curve on the water cooler. Do it manually, try a manual setting like pump on high performance and fan speed to match temps ie 50c 50 %, 60c 60%, but when you get to 70 c I have my fans set to 100 %fan speed

I have my fans set to 100 as soon as it hits 65, any other suggestions? I will restart and go into BIOS to find voltage in a minute.
