Hey all,

I was wondering how well a Kraken X31 would cool in conjunction with a Kraken G10.
I would opt for a Swiftech H220x if they were available in my country but unfortunately, they are not.
If anyone has any benchmarks they could show me or a different water cooler I would much appreciate it!

Thanks for all the replies,

Solution
Don't use youtube as a reliable source, ever.

In that case why not go for a custom W/C setup? Doing this ensures best Temps and the waterblock covers the whole card, and adequately cools the VRM.
The G10 with that AIO cooler would be better then getting an air cooler, to be put simply. That said the GTX 970 does not get very hot, even when overclocked to the max. When using the G10, it is also best to have the stock cooled model, for reference (just making sue you have it). I personally don't see a need to cool that card any further, but feel free to.

You wont fit a h220x onto a kraken g10 because it needs an asetek style cooler with the ridges on the sides. The g10 has some vrm cooling issues but this might be less of an issue with the 900 series, you dont really need to liquid cool them they run pretty cool already

I am very keen on using a Kraken G10 with a thermaltake water 3.0 extreme, the best AIO available with 360mm rad!

I really wish I could get my hands on a H220x. That way my whole system could be on the same loop which would save A LOT of power. I am overclocking dual SLI 970's very heavily so I can run GTAV at 5760 x 1080 maxed. Needless to say it is gonna be hot!
