So I have a Corsair water cooler and one of the fans attached to it makes a weird noise. I’ve noticed it must be getting stuck on something and that something turns out to be the fan case itself. I’ve built this pc 3 years ago with no problems until recently and I can’t even remember how to detach the water cooler anymore to investigate. How do I fix this. Please help, thanks In advance.

Solution
Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

Try to describe the "weird noise": buzz, hum, screech, click, rattle.....

Post a couple photographs showing motherboard and cooler.

You should be able to use the applicable components' make and model information to find the applicable User Guides/Manuals.

Has the case been opened for cleaning and reseating all cards, cables, RAM, jumpers, etc..? Could be that fan case is loose and just a bit out of place
