I currently have the Hyper 212 EVO cooler and am in the market for a water cooler--I would like lower temperatures and, if possible, equal or less noise generation.

I have looked at various options via newegg, amazon, tiger direct, etc. & have not come to a product that screams "buy me, im great"

(I would prefer a cold cooler, not a cheap one--budget is 150, but will go to 200 | MUST be no/very low maintenance)

I have the Fractal DEFINE R4 PC Case.

Thanks

The Corsair H100i is the best all in one liquid cooler.

With that budget you might be able to custom water cool just the CPU?.. This then can be expanded later on to cool GPU,s e.g.

WAIT, its am3. let me get back to you, so sorry

edit:
The corsair 110 is compatible with AM3 socket but it has a larger Radiator so make sure your case has somewhere to house it.

Have you considered a custom liquid loop just for the CPU? Its not something I would advocate but take it for what it is.

I have the R9 280X ASUS MATRIX Platinum--decent pre-built cooling so far, so I'd probably just worry about the CPU.

H100i is the upgrade of the H100, it has a better pump, larger insulated water lines to improve waterflow, and improved fan control algorithms and fans.

It constantly wins out for best enclosed loop watercooler.

The x60 is cool since it is a dual 140mm setup instead of the dual 120mm of the H100i, but it can be harder to mount due to the size, and you don't get as much control over the pump / fan speeds.

I'll probably go with the Kraken as the Corsair is out of stock & they are a few dollars different in price.

Im only slightly read with all in one liquid coolers, sorry If I get some things wrong. I have waged enough war today.

now i just have to decide if the effort to fit it in the R4 is worth it...i hated installing the EVO
