Water Cooling In Fractal Design Define R4

Hey, I'm going to be watercooling a 4670k in a Define R4 case, I can only fit a rad in the front because the top is quite restrictive, this is how I'm planning on doing it.

Red is a XSPC D5 Vario Pump & XSPC Acrylic Tank Reservoir

Green is a Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta 240

And the blue pipe is XSPC HighFlex Hose 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD

I cant mention about compatibility but the Fans are crap for any rad. Change em to Corsair SP120's High Performance edition. Also here's a much similar yet apparently better choice - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-041-OE&groupid=962&catid=1532

Hey, I forgot to mention that I'm using both of the optical drive bays so that kit is useless, about the fans, the Bitfenix have a slightly lower static pressure and a slightly higher CFM, but they have have the noise level 35 dBA vs 26.1dBA.

Ohh , in that case get the 120mm kit I had mentioned earlier. Also the BitFenix's that I used on my H60 ( same model ) had the temps hotter than what the SP120's did. Both were in Push/Pull. Its nap time here , so bye-bye.

Everything you need at a far cheaper price and performance enabled parts. Fans are rad designed, D5 pump included, raystorm block and mounting included. Fans on it are Xigmatek Spirulian - very nice fans actually. 2 are included. 2 more or 2 Corsair SP120 could be added for full push/pull

Thermal performance of the 60mm RX240 is comparable to the 80mm Monsta. a little less, but for what you are doing MORE than adequate

Yeah it would be cheaper if shipping to the U.K. didn't cost £100.

With some compression fittings and some Rotary Fitting. And for the few times I do need an Optical drive I'll just open the side panel and connect it up out side of the case.

But I am getting an NZXT Hue RGB Lighting kit that requires a 5.25" bay, but since it has no moving parts I can just put it anywhere in the case.

lol - well yes - but um.... XSPC is a UK company - you can find the same hit there - just make sure it is the D5 RX version

DO NOT i repeat do not get the 750 - that x20 pump is garbage. and it is built inside the res, prone to fail, weak as hell at 2/3 the power of the D5.

RS isn't a bad rad but 2/3 the TDW of the Monsta so no comparison Rx is thicker and more capable

How much better is the D5 over the X2O 750? Because it get it it's going to cost me more than double the price.

Edit: Looking at all the forum posts about the X2O 750 v4 breaking I think I'll steer clear of it.
