So i just hooked up the corsair H90 as an intake fan in the back which temps seem to be good with 22C at idle. I would have rather had it as an exhaust but didnt have the screws to be able to do that. My question is i hooked the fan up to the CPU fan 2 and the PUMP into the CPU fan 1. Just wondering if that is ok.

Solution
Yes, put the 4 pin rad fan on the CPU fan header that the old cooler was plugged into. You can plug the pump into any fan header that isn't controlled. Or even connect it to a Molex from the PSU with an adapter. It just needs to see +12V continuously.

Think of the rad fan as the same as the old air cooler's fan. It needs to speed up/slow down as temps change. The pump on the other hand needs to constantly push coolant at full flow.

If the fan is 4 wire (PWM), it should be connected to the 4 pin #1 CPU fan header just like the fan on the stock cooler was. The pump needs to run at full RPM all the time (+12V). So it needs to go to any 3 or 4 pin header that is able to run at full speed all the time.

Ok the 3 pin pump is in the CPU 1 where my Evo was hooked into and my 4 pin is in CPU fan 2. So i should put the 4 pin where the 3 pin is and put the 3 pin in a regular fan spot because my board doesnt have many system fan spots.

I really never paid any attention to that. If they aren't leaking coolant, it must be.
