Hello,
I installed a kraken g10 on a 290x. I used a corsair h90 for the pump, I also used enzotechs 9mm copper heatsinks to cover all the memory. I also used gelid heatsinks that are fitted for the vrms on the card. I also put in a different fan that had better output. When I installed everything, I was able to boot to windows to check idle temps.
Vrm 1: 27c
Vrm 2: 30c
GPU: 34c

So I turned on Tomb Raider, got into campaign. Checked max temps
Vrm 1: 50c
Vrm 2: 54c
GPU: 53c

About 30 seconds later screen would go black pc still on, no beeps blue screen or anything. I Reset the computer nothing, unplugged it plugged it back in. Got to windows, same idle temps. Started up Tomb Raider again, same max temps, 30 seconds later black screen. I made sure pump is working, fan is on. Good contact with heatsink to gpu. Radiator fans on 100%. I made sure the screws were in the hole slot for 290x on kraken back plate. Also made sure not to over tighten and bend the card. Any ideas?

Solution
If you're overclocking your GPU or CPU it could be an issue with it. Anytime I have an unstable overclock on a CPU or GPU all sorts of issues happen. Freeze, Crash to Desktop, BSOD, and some times the screen goes black, no video signal but the computer stays on (at least power-wise).
