i want to watercool my graphic cards and decided to watercool them and the cpu at the same time so i went custom loop
its my first custom loop
i have picked the rads and cpu block
for the graphic cards i will wait for evga's water block
i need tips for barbs and stuff
i dont know what to choose and what size
i need help for all other things

here is the list of items i already put in the cart(swiftech):

MCRx20-XP "eXtreme Performance" Radiator Series 240mm
MCRx20-XP "eXtreme Performance" Radiator Series 360mm
MCP35X Reservoir
MCP35X pump
Apogee XL cpu bracket

its for my corsair 750d which im going to get
and i plan on a green build

Please read through the watercooling sticky that is linked below in my signature. This will help answer some of your questions and give you some insight on what your next moves are.

Just curious, you have listed all Swiftech items...any reason for this? Swiftech is a good brand, but there are other radiators that perform better for the money.

Excellent advice Rubix!

@ the OP, studying the water cooling sticky will give you a solid base, then I additionally suggest studying up on water cooling component performance comparisions as well, as Rubix is 100% correct in his all Swiftech component questioning?

Swiftech makes some excellent products as I love the Swiftech MCP655 variable speed water pump, however Swiftech is not the cooling performance leader in everything and Swiftech would not be my first CPU water block choice or radiators as well, so getting some good info under your belt before you pull the build trigger is just good advice.

That's why the sticky will help you.

The barbs you buy must match the tubing you decide to run the G1/4 standard threading fits the block or rad etc. threading, then all you need to know is the tubing I/D (interior diameter), matches the barbs O/D (outer diameter), but you don't have to worry about that because barbs are rated to fit the diameter tubing they are designated for.

For example 1/2" barbs fit 1/2" I/D tubing, 3/8" barbs fit 3/8" I/D tubing and the G1/4 threading common to both the sets of barbs fit the water block, or radiator, or reservoir etc.

Does that help you?

i also have a 750d and its a great case. i went with a 280 rad in the front and a 360 in the top. As for recomending fittings hose and coolent i used bitspower black sparkel rotory fittings in 3/8 x 1/2in for tubing i used primochill clear and coolent i went with premixed xspc liquid. here are a few pics http://www.overclock.net/g/a/1230175/nope/
I would look into frozencpu.com and get the best your budget will let you.

Thanks for the advices guys
Will read the sticky
I need recommendation for good budget radiators
The swiftech ones were temporary choices
And im sure I can fit a thicker 240mm rad at the bottom of the case

hey im planning to use xspc's pump/reservoir combo with d5 pump
but i better take the 270 only 10 usd difference
is that a full sized mobo in ur pics?
and how do i mount the res?
what rads are you using?

Currently I have planned this:
WATER COOLING ITEMS

Yes that is a full size MB. to mount the rez had to drill 2 holes and open up 2 hole that were all ready there. and for the rads the are both XSPC ex series a 360 in the top and a 280 in front. i wanted the thinner rad just cuz i liked the look of them and they can perform great with a push pull setup.

oh sorry my items were not in the post though im sure i added them
so i did a last minute change
im going with the enthoo luxe
thanks for your help
