I wanted to clean up my corsair k70, so i did. I cleaned my key caps with hot water and let them air dry for 30 min to an hour, i guess to short of a time because when i put back all the caps and connected the keyboard back to my computer, all the keys were working besides the 4 key. i took out all the keycaps and am now letting it dry. did i permanently mess up my keyboard or am i ok? also how long do i let it dry?

It's might be fine, but you should have let it dry for a while longer. Depending on the conditions you are drying them in, 12+ hours would not be out of the question, just to be safe. Air drying is usually the preferred method, at least for me. Using it before it was fully dry could have damaged it.
