I moved my case around to take out an HDD which required the pc to be on its side. After finishing and booting up I heard a nasty sizzling/crackling sound coming from my aio water pump. I assume it’s air bubbles. Is this normal and will it go away on its own? The pump has been completely quiet before I did this. It’s a Corsair h100i Pro.

Solution

Have the similar setup, and it is an issue with their particular coolers. Mine did this when i first booted it for about a day or so, just air bubbles in the pump.

I would assume it's air bubbles as well.
I have something similar happen....and yes....they did go away.
...but perhaps there is a way you can purge the air so you don't have to wait? I'm not familiar with that setup....but perhaps there is some sort of an air bleed?
