Are there water-blocks for custom board partner cards? Like if I wanted a 980 ti kingpin because of all the power and overclocking possibility, and i wanted to water-cool it, do I just get a regular EK water-block for it or what? Is the PCB different?

Solution
Well, three things to note here, the first is that even with custom coolers, there are a lot of fairly reference cards, just custom coolers, on top of that, there are cards with a reference PCB but custom parts and such, so the holes and placements are the same, and last, you have fully custom cards. Luckily, companies like EK make blocks for a lot of different cards, and a lot of cards that use the same block it's easy to find the information on what to buy. Not every custom card gets a shiny block, but a lot of the bigger/OC ready cards do from major manufacturers, like EVGA, MSI, Gigabyte... Not sure if there's a block for the EVGA 980 Ti K|ngp|n, but I know there are blocks available that fit that card.

If you go to EK's webpage there is a waterblock configurator that you can go to. It will ask the make and model of the card you are wanting to cool and give you the option available for that card.

So for the 980 ti kingpin they make 3 full cover waterblocks for that card.

https://www.ekwb.com/configurator/ just follow the steps for whatever card you want and it will give any blocks they make for the card.
