can anyone recommend a watercooling system for a Asus Maximus Extreme Motherboard with a quad core processor?

That is a very broad request. We've no idea what you want to watercool...CPU? GPU? NB? Whether you are in Single card? SLI? Crossfire? What, if any, are your o'clocking habits? What is your budget? etc.

Hey...phreejak

What is a good (cheaper) 3x120mm Rad.
I'm considering to go water and have all the other parts set out. It would be a CPU loop only (for now) but want to get a good rad that would be fine with a CPU and GPU (overclocked ) in the loop

I agree you should do a bit of research. To be honest the best water cooling kits are the ones where each part is chosen - I wouldn't recommend a ready to install kit for good performance.

@ Silverion77 have a look at Thermochill PA series rads or Black Ice rads for good performance. Thermochills are quite expensive but I think Black Ice are good for their money. I'm very please with my GTX 240 from Black Ice.

Silverion77,

for the price, BlackIce Extreme III's or the Quietpower series are nice - they cost about 1/2 as much as the PA series and do quite well. The PA series of rads are nice and, statistically, superior but they don't produce results twice that of the BlackIce Extreme or the Quiet Powers.

I opted for the Black Ice Extreme 3 series, which you can get a 3 x 120 rad for around $80. In the Quietpower series a 3 x 120mm rad would run you about $60 compared to the Thermochill PA 120.3 which would run you around $160 - give or take.
