Watercooling a non reference GTX 770

I have two MSI GTX 770 Lightning cards that have non reference PCB's and I want to find a way to put them in a custom loop. I don't think there's any waterblocks that specifically fit that card so I was thinking about using the NZXT Kraken G10. My question though, can you still put them in a custom loop with the NZXT Kraken G10 bracket, or do you HAVE to use an AIO cooler?

Ooo even better! I didn't even know this existed. I had looked on EK's site before, but I just looked on their product page which didn't list the GTX 770 at all. You're a miracle maker.

I'm going to be using XSPC HighFlex Hose 7/16“ ID, 5/8” OD, 15.9/11.1mm for the waterloop but I can't quite figure out what fittings I need for the EK block on the 770. Can anyone help me out please?

Do you know which EBWB fitting I would need for the tubing I'm planning to buy? I can't seem to make sense of the sizes EK provides.

The 'freedom of speech' is a very loose phrase. Yes, we have the right to say what we want, but there may also be consequences for what we say. Regardless, I didn't mean it in an insulting or religious way at all. Maybe just a slight misunderstanding on his part.

Anyway, back on topic, I've hit a dead wall with this. EKWB don't provide a full cover waterblock for the 770 lightning model. The one listed is for the 680 lightning model (which should theoretically fit) but for some reason you can't select it to purchase.

I could buy just the GPU waterblock itself, but that presents more issues I don't know how to fix. Firstly, how would I cool the VRAM and MOSFETs? Secondly, could I still use the backplate with the GPU waterblock? And thirdly, how would I SLI the cards when they have separate GPU waterblocks?

I could go with that Aquacomputer waterblock but it doesn't cover the full GPU and I still have the issue of installing a backplate and dealing with SLI bridges.

You know, I always thought buying non reference GPU's was so much better as you're getting the best of the best right from the start but they're proving so much harder to modify.

Do you have any tips or suggestions?

Right I've finally solved all of my problems but I just want to say thank you as, if it weren't for you then I'd of never discovered the Aquacomputer brand and products.

I didn't go for the one you listed because that's for the reference GTX 770 models and I needed one for MSI's Lightning model as it uses a different PCB layout. Fortunately though I found one on their website for the 680 Lightning (compatible with the 770 Lightning as they use identical PCB's).

It's not pretty by all means, but it gets the job done. For two of those and an SLI bridge it cost a total of €194 which converts to £148 in UK pounds. 14 day delivery outside of the EU (Yeah the UK is part of the EU but as it's not mainland EU, for delivery purposes it's classed as outside).

There might be duty fees from the EU to the UK but I'm not sure.

Whenever i ordered stuff from Germany i've had no duty fees, i think it is non-eu companies ... cannot guarantee it though
