So I recently built my first computer with the following specs:
AMD 8320 FX 8 cores at 3.5GHz (currently running at 3.8GHz)
Evga Superclocked GTX 760
G.Skill Ripjaws 2x4gb
240gb PNY XLR8 SSD
1TB WD Blue HDD
520W Seasonic PSU
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
Corsair 450d Obsidian Series
So I've already added another 300MHz because there wasn't really a difference in temperature and noise, and it runs stable so I thought I'd get a little bit more oomph with gaming, video editing, and rendering (3D).
Is my Mobo a good OCing mobo? If its not great but not bad what do you think I should be able to get out of it.
On to my bigger question. The stock cooler is LOUD at full load. I'm thinking of getting the Corsair H100i Watercooler to replace the stock cooler. If I shouldnt get that I think I'd get the 212 Hyper Evo (however its arranged). I'm not sure what my actual temp is but my thermal margin is 20C at full load. I don't think its my case because I've used an external fan at full speed and blew at the CPU and temps didn't change.
Also I feel a little worried about the water cooler possibly leaking, but I don't exactly want a giant air cooler in my case.
