Hi peeps.

I just wanted to ask, would the Thermal take 3.0 Pro suffice in cooling the AMD FX AM3+ 8350 Black addition cpu?
Im not going to overclock the chip I just need to know if it will keep the chip at an acceptable temperature that would not impact the cpu's performance

Solution
That's more than sufficient. Anything other than the stock CPU cooler will suffice if you aren't OCing.

The Noctua NH-D14 might be better, that way the VRM heatsink still gets some air circulation.

if your not going to oc you could go with a lot cheaper cooler. Why not just get an air cooler like a hyper 212, or even a hyper tx3 should be fine if your running at stock clock speeds. seems like an excessive amount to spend on an amd cpu, for the same price as the cooler and cpu you could get an i7.

Awesome thanks for the responses. I got the Water cooler for very cheap ( South Africa ) R 620 were as the Hyper 212 are going for R 500 so I though R120 bucks isn't that bad to spend on Water Cooling in stead of Air Cooling.
I have a couple of fans in the case (Thermaltake Chaser) adding additional ventilation and so forth.
