Question watercooling of upcoming GPUs / where to get coldplates ?

I'm considering going that route with new 90x0 Radeon, but quick Googling around gets me only couple models for verz few old SKUs.
Not much more than 7900XTX and even that for one or two manufacturers.

So, where does one get cooler for his GPU ?
Are there universal models, just like with CPUs ?
Does exact card manufacturer matter for particular model ?
 
I don't see any of those offering anything resembling universal GPU cooler that one could customize for (m)any GPUs.

All I can find is a bunch of coolers targeted for exact GPU models/series/manufacturers.

I doubt you're going to find any sort of universal solution for todays hot headed cards considering that it's not just the GPU chip you need to cool and practically all boards have a non-reference design. If the VRM areas were simple to cool, then the aircooler's themselves wouldn't be bulky.

One of EKWB's downfall was having many SKU's for one block, multiplied by the number of cards out there. Universal GPU blocks were a thing a decade+ ago, so is the thing about a power efficient GPU.
 
When I buy GPU blocks for graphics cards, I will usually find what blocks are available first, then try to determine what cards they are suitable for.

For example, EVGA (R.I.P.) used to almost always follow Nvidia reference design, so the blocks followed the technical reference spec. Many watercooling block manufacturers will make blocks for standard reference design as well as some of the more high-end specific card models or very popular ones. Heck, Alphacool has a program that if you cannot find a block for your card, you can mail it in to them and they will design a block and then ship your card back. If they make a block for public sale, you get it free. (I think it is only in the EU, though).

TL;DR - find blocks available for the card you want, then make sure the model # lines up as being a fully supported fit.
