^ Correct, it is pointless to WC the NB/SB...esp the SB. The northbridge can get you a little higher OC if you really push it, but you have to be at the thermal threshold of the chipset for WC to make a difference in OC'ing.
Depending on what CPU and GPUs you run will make a decent difference in your rad decision. A Core i7 really needs at minimum, a 2x120 rad by itself. Depending on your GPUs, you might need 1.5-2x120 for those each, as well.
You will also need a good pump to push that, and I would hope you run 1/2" tubing all around.
