watermarks on monitor

so I cleaned my monitor with a towel and water and now when I have something white on my screen, it shows the stupid watermark (the different colors and stuff) on some spots. how could I remove this since I've already tried with dry towel

my monitor isn't dirty.. its the same as u would poor water on it and then afterwards see it on white

Hence distilled water. Should rehydrate the calcium or whatever was in the old water and let you wipe it away without adding more impurities to the mix. Distilled water itself can't leave a water mark
