A little help here would be great.
I'm putting together a PC, and I'm trying to figure out what PSU to use. Different PSU calculators are giving me different results, and they're wide ranging. Here's what I'm looking at for a system:

Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VII Impact, Mini-ITX, LGA 1150 (Z97).
CPU: Intel core i7-4790k Haswell Quad-Core at 4Ghz
RAM: 2x 8gb DDR3 1866 Mhz
GPU: MSI GTX 970 4G Geforce
SSD: Intel 530 180 gb
Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H100i

In addition, it will need to power several fans, LEDs, a keyboard and a mouse.
My HDD is powered individually.

I do not plan to overclock. But, I obviously want to play it safe with wattage anyway.

I was thinking an 860 Watt would be more than fine. And, I'd go with a: Corsair AX860i.

While most PSU calculators have me at just under and/or around 600 Watts, some have this system as requiring 1200 watts at peak performance.

I know you usually never peak, but...

What are you guys thinking? Will 860 Watts be sufficient? Thanks!

I know I'll crack eventually... 😛 I always do... regardless of how much I think I won't.
I just wanted to have everything in place for when I do!
Thanks for the input!

It's a 970.

I'm willing to spend the money. I've been saving up for this for awhile. But, I don't have the money to mess up and buy a new PSU while I try to sell the old one.

So the AX 860i it is, then! It's platinum, so I should be well in the clear, and be able to tack in upgrades for a bit before I need to replace it.

A Corsair Graphite 380t. It was a bit pricey, but at least I won't have to struggle to carry a full sized tower when I feel like moving around.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the help.
