Hello all.
At my house we currently have a 5mb/s internet speed that gets competitive in the morning and late at night.
I also happen to be a bit of a game collector, and often find myself conducting hefty downloads on Steam that can take 12 hours.
It usually works to download during the night, but if I sleep in then my machine is left hogging our bandwidth in the early morning when people use it.
I am also concerned about the amount of power I am using because I am not even trying (at the moment) to put my machine into any power-saving mode.
So, as a solution, I need some way to: A) Stop my downloads or shut down my computer at a set time, and B) limit the amount of power my computer uses while downloading (and only downloading) overnight.
Thanks in advance!
